Untitled (1929-1930) by Francis Picabia

“Untitled” was created between 1929 and 1930 and features a fragmented, abstract portrait. The artwork depicts a male face using sharp, intersecting lines that convey a sense of distortion and multiplicity. Dark, bold strokes contrast with softer shading, giving depth and dimension to the figure. The eyes, nose, and mouth are depicted in a cubist style, overlapping and merging to form a complex, layered expression.
